Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of services do you offer?
If it involves paint on the ground (and sometimes on walls, ceilings, piping, car stops, bollards, light poles, etc.), we do it! We can lay it out, re-paint it, AND remove it.
How much does it cost?
Cost depends on many factors including type of paint to be used, colors needed, how much paint is needed, distance traveled to get to the job, etc. Each item painted is priced based on the amount of paint used and how much labor goes in to completing it.
Are Yellow and White the only colors available?
Not even close! While White and Yellow are the most commonly used colors, we also keep Red, Blue, and Black on hand as well. Not only that, but we can create custom colors, or color match to suit any project you can imagine!
What is Pavement Marking/ Striping?
Pavement marking, or "Striping" is simply the process of applying paint to a ground surface. This can be for roadways, parking lots, indoor facilities, athletic courts, playgrounds, pretty much anywhere there is a need for long-lasting markings.
How long does it take?
This will depend on the size of the project. The good news is that MOST of the paints we use dry very quickly in optimal conditions (typically within 1 - 5 minutes). You can expect the average 30 stall parking lot to take roughly 3 hours start to finish (including layout and cleanup).
Can you help with ADA Compliance?
ABSOLUTELY! ADA Compliance is a critically important part of the overall layout of a parking lot. We keep up to date with all of the current laws, meaning your parking lot will be up to date as well.
Why do I need Striping?
Striping provides order and structure to your parking lot which makes it safer and easier to navigate, and helps convey information, for all of your guests. Indoor facilities such as warehouses and production facilities benefit greatly from the added safety and organization that safety markings provide.
How long does it last?
This is a questions we get asked A LOT! As with most things, this depends on many factors such as: type of paint used (Typical outdoor Traffic Paint will show wear after 2-3 years), type of surface being painted, conditions in which paint was applied (air/ground temps, precipitation, etc), the amount of wear the surface experiences on a regular basis... among others.
Do you offer Reflective and Slip Resistant options?
We do offer several different additives that can make pavement markings slip resistant or reflective. Simply let us know what your project requires and we will gladly discuss the different options we have to achieve the results you're looking for!
